Computer Science & Engineering is a dynamic and exciting field. Department of Computer Science & Engineering was established in the year 2013, enriched with strong resource persons and state-of-the-art laboratories. The Department has a comprehensive curriculum on topics related to all aspects of Computer Hardware and Software with an emphasis on practical learning. The course structure is up-to-date and includes courses on nascent topics to equip our students with the latest developments in Computer Science and Engineering.
While steps are taken to clear the fundamental aspects of Computer Science, in advance years the students are endorsed with latest technologies like cloud computing, mobile computing, Big Data etc. Feedback from corporate and alumni help us to cater to the changing needs. Students and Staffs, both are enabled with continuous learning environment through knowledge sharing.

Institute was affiliated by Kolhan University for the first five batches. And batch 18 & 19 onwards are under affiliation of JUT.

UG sanctioned intake - 60 + LE(2nd Year) [Lateral Entry - 20% of sanctioned intake]
Students from CSE batch-2013-17 as well as first pass out batch of Chaibasa Engineering College received Gold Medal from University.
About 90% placement in first pass out batch.
Average graduation rate 94%.
Our placed Students are now many reputed MNCs like TCS ,CTS, Infosys, IBM, ARC, Amzon, Microsoft , Wipro etc.
Student Project got selected in Hackathon
Student project from 2014-18 batch is now used by Govt. of Jharkhand.
